HAULING ROAD

The 32 long hauling road is upgrade with 12 m road. The 1st stage upgrade of the road could deliver 1500 MT/day coal to Pangku port. The next upgrade will be all weather road is still under planning. 

FEEDER BARGE PORT

Port of Pangku is located in North Barito River. Barge Loading Conveyor was designed to accommodate the challange of North Barito river radical water level 3 -14 m. Main Conveyor's maximum  loading rate is 1000 tph and it  operates in 24/7 to load coal into feeder barge and ship to intermediate stockpile. [Port info pdf

FEEDER BARGING   

Small Barges are used in North Barito river from 180-230 feet size barges. in some cases 270 feet is possible to sail. Barge route has several critical points that affected by the water level such as clearence of the bridge, the sand traps in Teluk Siwak, Montalat, etc. Unique procedure was  developed and should be strictly followed by the barge feeder management  to overcome the challenge of North Barito River logistics. 

INTERMEDIATE STOCKPILE TRANSIT PORT 

This port is located in Teluk Timbau, South Barito River, a safe area with 360 m river wide and all seasons operation. Feeder barges feed the cargo to Teluk Timbau  Port. It has 3 Ha coal stockpile area that enough to keep a buffer stock,  processing, and re-load to bigger barge 300-320 feet size barge.
